Sunset Cruise...Duck Style

 

Yesterday was so beautiful that we couldn't pass up the oportunity to take a ride around the lake at sunset. I packed an impromptu picnic, threw my rubber boots on, grabbed my favorite captain and off we went. Tim insisted we take the "duck" boat. Meh...it didn't matter what we went in as long as we went.  So our sunset cruise went a little duck hunter chic!

Busy Making Memories

I never meant to take such a long break from my blog. The end of the year is typically chaotic and usually I'm employed.  This year I decided to dive head long into all things holiday since I was no longer employed. This included Christmas programs, lunches out, Christmas shopping, decorating, cooking and baking.  Unfortunately Tim & I ended the year sick and we both slept through New Years. Yuck!  Regardless we had a ball and made some great new memories! So long 2012!

       

We got snow on Christmas Day!!

Congratulations to Tam & Josh! Can't wait to meet Baby Thompson this summer!

Confessions of an oversized sweater wearer!

Absolutely love the ease of putting on an oversized sweater, a pair of leggings(or jeans or tights or...), throwing my hair in a top knot and hitting the road! They can be worn with boots of all kinds or your favorite flats. Yet another reason to sing the praises of fall fashion!

The oversized sweater is always a great "go to" piece to have hanging in your closet.  They are so comfy and so chic. If you haven't invested in one yet, what are you waiting for???

Hello Ladies!

  Our 9 year old washer decided to stop working. The repairman said he could fix it for $700.00 and I should at least get another year out of it. $700 for another year??? No thanks! We got a great deal on a new set! 

If you're going to do laundry, you might as well do it in style!! (We'll have this room renovated by the new year!)

Get out there and enjoy the fall leaves before winter takes them all away!
